Imran J. Khan is a Pakistani-American writer, director and editor known for telling culturally specific stories with warmth, humor and authenticity. He wrote and directed the coming-of-age feature Mustache, starring Atharva Verma, Rizwan Manji, Meesha Shafi, Alicia Silverstone and Hasan Minhaj, which premiered in competition at SXSW. His work often explores identity, family, belonging and the immigrant experience through a distinctly personal lens. He has also directed short films including Group C and The Boy with the Dinosaur Head.
