Born in Toronto and raised in Ontario, Virk began his broadcasting career with TSN in Canada before moving to the U.S. to join ESPN, where he gained recognition as a studio host on shows like Baseball Tonight and SportsCenter.

Beyond sports, he is a passionate cinephile and hosts Cinephile: The Adnan Virk Movie Podcast, where he shares reviews, interviews, and deep dives into film history.
